Monte Naturista O Barão opened its gate in summer
2005. The campsite has 30 spacious pitches with electricity under old cork trees and
nice smelling pine trees or warmly in the sun.
The campsite
has a new bath house with 3 toilets, 3 warm showers and a special bathroom for disabled people. The crystal clear water from our new salt water swimming pool (5.5m x 15m) originates from our
own water source. For naturists who like to rent we have a fully equiped
wooden lodge and caravans for rent. Our cozy and rustic bar is a reconstructed ruin of traditional
taipa (clay) which was formerly used as a wine cellar. From the terrace you
can enjoy the view over the valley, which is of breathtaking beauty, and every
night the picturesque sunset (see picture above) is another spectacle scene.
In the morning whilst enjoying a cup of coffee in the bar you can buy bread,
fresh eggs or delicious goat cheese.
